1975年生まれ。新潟県在住。 創作活動はその時の気持ちを吐き出すための作業である。音楽をこよなく愛し、曲を作る感覚で、一つの作品を一つの曲のようにつくりあげる。詞を作り、絵を描くときは必ずBGMを選曲する。時に激しい音の中で一気に描き上げる。ストレスの発散、表現したい、かっこいいものをつくりたいという気持ちの延長線上に創作がある。エイブルアート・カンパニーの登録作家になったことで自分の為だけに描いていた作品の可能性を感じている。 Shimizu Katsuya was born in 1975 and lives in Nigata prefecture. He began his work as an artist creating posters for events at an art facility where he gained great recognition. In 2006 Shimizu met his wife while working on a welfare service newsletter. With encouragement from his wife he is getting more opportunities to show his work, creating a positive cycle to produce even more works.
